The Nguna-Pele Marine Protected Area is overseen by a management committee with members from each village. This committee provides policy direction and work is carried out by the MPA Manager and two part-time staff members. U.S. Peace Corps Volunteers Seth Dallmann and Dominique Lenox are also assisting the MPA through 2009.
