World Challenge Competition

The Nguna-Pele MPA was selected as a finalist in Shell's 2005 World Challenge Competition for their rechargeable battery project.  There were over 500 entries in the contest, narrowed down first to twelve, and then to three. In November 2005, Mr. Luna Tasong traveled to London on behalf of the MPA for a ceremony where he accepted the third place award on the MPA's behalf.
